Towards this end, CHEMOZALE  2010 presents GREEN PRAYAAS - an effort today for a better tomorrow. The power of an idea for innovation and weal is a force to be reckoned with. Hence,  GREEN  PRAYAAS welcomes you to observe, think, envision and innovate.

Let your ideas run wild; Let the undiscovered genius in you unravel itself to help the human race which, today, relies on the budding scientists and STUDENTS in you for its progress and improvement.

Green prayas is a model making comptetion (working/non-working) based on

“ENERGY SAVING IN YOUR SCHOOL”.

You can use any of the concept like wind mills, solar panels,rain water harvesting etc. With a focus on two main areas

-environment
-economics

Team formation

Green Prayaas is open to all school students of science or commerce stream.
Teams can have a maximum of 3 students from class IX to XII.
The students forming a team should be from the same school.
There is no restriction on the number of team from the same school.
The event would be conducted in two phases

PHASE I

The abstract should either in form of Word Document or PDF,  maximum upto 3 pages, Times New Roman, 12 font size with default spacing.
The abstract may contain pictures and graphs
The abstract of the model should be sent before 12th March to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with subject of mail: ‘Green Prayaas’.
Please mention the following things on the FrontPage of your paper

Based on the abstract evaluation, best 10 models would be selected for PHASE II.

They will be informed by 13th of march

PHASE II

Model Presentation

Explanation of the model with a compulsory use of posters.
Hard copies/Laptops/Graphs etc. can be used
Electric connections and other basic requisites will be provided as per the availability and on first come first serve basis.
Any of the model presented should not make use of hazardous chemicals or explosives.

Violation of any rule can result in rejection.
The organizers reserve the right to change/update the rules of the contest at any point of time and will do their best to inform the participants of the same. However, it is ultimately the responsibility of the teams to keep themselves updated.
