Mentorship For Finalists

Bizhr strives to create an impact by providing a forum for self sustainable business plans which seek to sensitize its participants about the potential difference they can make, thereby helping all the aspiring entrepreneurs give flight to their ideas by providing a platform for them to launch their businesses. The event is aimed at not only testing business acumen, but also the participants’ ability to think on their feet. A great idea without an opportunity chokes before it can bloom into a productive venture. It thus provides a platform for the participants to interact with individuals who have “been-there and done-that” to review their business plans and gain expedient feedback.

Team formation

Bizhr is open to all students of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Team can have maximum of 4 students.
No student can be part of more than one team.
It is not necessary that the students forming a team should be from the same college.
There is no restriction on the numbers of team from the same college.

The event would be conducted in two phases

PHASE I

Submission of executive summary should contain:-
The product or service description
The market
The finance requirement
Revenue and growth potential
SWOT analysis

Executive Summary either in form of word document or pdf, less than 1000 words, Times New Roman, 12 font size, 1 spacing.

Based on the executive summary evaluation, best 8 papers in each track would be selected for PHASE II.

PHASE II

Submission of detailed Business plan & its presentation.

The first page of the paper should contain

Picture clippings and graphs may be used.
The plan should not exceed more than 10,000 words, Times New Roman, 12 font size, 1 line spacing.
The teams will get 8 minutes to present their plan. It will be followed by a question and answer session of 2 minutes.
The participants will have to present their business plans in Microsoft PowerPoint 2003.
We will provide computer, LCD, Collar Mike for presentation.
The organizers reserve the right to change/update the rules of the contest at any point of time and will do their best to inform the participants of the same. However, it is ultimately the responsibility of the teams to keep themselves updated.
